The Store at Gänsemarkt 24 was opened in 1972 by Thomas Friese and has since been known as a fashion store with perfect craftsmanship and high-quality fabrics. What stands out particularly in this Store is a huge wall with various exotic plants from around the world, which are cared for every week.

High-Quality Brands Enhance Our Range

Alongside this hanging garden is a unique selection of OMEN garments made in Hamburg, as well as high-quality bags, sneakers, and accessories from well-known brands. In the 90s, the first pieces from Yamamoto or Rei Kawakubo’s label Comme de Garçons were already available here, showing that Thomas Friese was far ahead of his time!

The trademarks of these products – dropped shoulders, boxy cuts, and oversized fits – have also been incorporated into the product selection of the Store at Gänsemarkt. The garments are placed in an environment full of art objects, connecting different worlds.
