Lambswool

Lambswool is obtained from the first shearing of young sheep and stands for incomparable softness and smoothness. It offers excellent thermal insulation and breathability, combined with natural elasticity for the highest wearing comfort. Our lambswool comes from Australia and South Africa, and the fiber is 100% processed further in Italy. The yarn manufacturers use only fibers certified as Mulesing Free for this yarn. This underlines our commitment to animal-friendly handling of our resources.

Through an elaborate, secret washing process specially developed for lambswool here in our knitting mill in Hamburg, we can create a very special surface with a supersoft touch.

Storage

Make sure to air out and dry your garments well before storing them. It is best to store them neatly folded in a cool place protected from direct sunlight. It is important not to store your knitwear hanging for long periods (e.g., on hangers), as the garment can stretch out and lose its shape. Cedarwood and lavender sachets are excellent natural moth repellents. However, be careful that neither cedarwood nor lavender sachets come into direct contact with your garment, as this can cause stains.

Pilling

Although high-quality, long fibers are used, pilling can occur due to wear during use. This is normal for especially soft yarns and decreases over time as the shorter fibers come loose. We recommend minimizing friction risk by, for example, not wearing heavy jackets with rough linings. To remove small pills, it is advisable to use a special electric wool shaver. Lay the garment flat and gently use the shaver along the knit direction without applying too much pressure.
